Allyson Flower, MD is a graduate of St George’s University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at New York Medical College. Dr. Flower joined the faculty at New York Medical College in 2016 and is presently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics within the division of Hematology, Oncology, and SCT and the division of Microbiology and Immunology. Dr. Flower is also the Associate Director of the Cellular Tissue and Engineering Laboratory (CTEL) and Director of the Peripheral Blood Collection Facility. Clinical interests include Hematologic Malignancy, Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation, and Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology. Translational research interests include Cellular Immunotherapy. Dr. Flower is the recipient of the 2017 Hyundai Hope on Wheels Young Investigator Award for ongoing research entitled “Overcoming Natural Killer (NK) Cell Resistance in Poor-Risk Neuroblastoma (NB).”
